The new creation of Singapore’s leading-edge contemporary dance company comprises of two mood pieces that inter-cut into each other. Rouge by Angela Liong and Bleu by Elysa Wendi trace the routine pulses of transient living of young women in urban Asia, interrupted briefly by fractured remembrance of unyielding love flashed through ancient times.
Bleu En Rouge gleans movement motif from the dream sequence of Peony Pavilion, the 17th century Chinese K’un opera. Projection of images scattered on the set by Hong Kong video artist Maurice Lai are woven into the ambient soundscape of Singapore composer Philip Tan.
Belgium lighting designer Dries Vercruysse intriguingly illuminates a multiple-angled open chamber designed by Elysa Wendi.

To celebrate my first off-day with the dance company, i decided to make it a sushi day today!!!! :P
so last night me and steven went to Cold Storage and bought all the stuff, like japanese rice, seaweed, crabsticks, jap cucumbers, smoked salmon. We decided to have a sushi party at my place.. (okok, not exactly party since there was only two us. haha)
Last night we sat in front of the TV and laugh at the silly taiwan variety shows and finish a bottle of dessert wine. (i think he drink like 99% of it, i only took like 5 sips)
Anyway, back to my sushi day! here are my wonderful delicious (he claims) sushi!
All the ingredients :P

hmm... looks rather decent hor keke

Dear is so silly, i was wondering what he was doing, he placed them to look like a shape of a stick man. SUSHI STICK MAN! haha

I even made healthy sushi for myself, see the ones on the right hand side? they are made of brown rice! inspired by stef's trips to US and telling me how in US all the sushi are made using brown rice!!!!! so since non is available here, i decided to make my own :) hee
So full.... urgh....
